Our hearts go out to Las Vegas

Posted on: October 5th, 2017 by Romanucci & Blandin

Another mass shooting claims the lives of 55+ individuals and injures over 500. This time in Las Vegas, Nevada where over 20,000 concertgoers were enjoying the final evening of a 3-day country music festival. The gunman carried out the attack from his hotel room at the Mandalay Bay Resort which overlooked the Vegas strip and outdoor concert venue. The massacre is now the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history, surpassing the lives claimed at Pulse Nightclub in June of 2016.

Romanucci & Blandin has the privilege of currently representing over 75 brave victims and family members of the Pulse nightclub shooting and knows first-hand just how traumatic and life-altering these events can be – not just for victims, but for their families, friends and entire community. Having a strong support system is paramount to overcoming the personal difficulties that ensue.

As the healing and recovery process begins in Las Vegas, many will be left searching for answers. It will not just be about the shooter and his background but about how mass shooting incidents can continue to devastate our country. We must focus our attention on the victims, survivors and their loved ones who will undoubtedly continue to endure much pain in the coming weeks, months and years and need endless support. Our hearts go out to all those suffering.
