Grand Jury decision connected to destruction of video evidence
AUSTIN, TEXAS (March 31, 2021) – Javier Ambler’s parents, Javier Ambler, Sr. and Maritza Ambler, reacted to the indictment of Jason Nassour, former General Counsel of Williamson Co., Texas in connection with the death of their son: “Our family is thankful to the Grand Jury for holding officials accountable for the destruction of valuable evidence that showed officers taking the life of our son. We are committed to justice for in his name, and this indictment is an important step.”
Michele Beitia, mother of J.A.A. minor child states: “This decision to charge this county official to me shows the clear manipulation of evidence in this tragedy for our family. He may have tried to hide what happened, but I will say that we hope now the truth will come out and justice can be done in Javier’s name.”
