Chicago-based firms secure $98.6M verdict in Texas

Chicago-based firms Romanucci & Blandin and Washington Law Group were part of a trial team that obtained a $98.6 million verdict in Texas after a jury ruled in favor of the family of a man fatally shot by a police officer who said she mistook his apartment for her own.

According to Romanucci & Blandin, this is one of the largest civil rights verdicts awarded in the United States.
