Lawsuits expand to accessories sold by River City Firearms to Old National Bank shooter
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - River City Firearms was first sued in January 2024 by some of the victims of the Old National Bank mass shooting. Now, new lawsuits have been filed targeting the store and companies across the gun supply chain.
The lawsuits have expanded to target the manufacturer and distributor of the gun sight, grip, and magazines that River City Firearms sold to the shooter with the gun. The lawyers working on the cases argue the accessories sold to the shooter made him deadlier.
“He had much more control and if he wanted to, he had the ability to continue to shoot with the additional high-capacity magazines,” said Antonio Romanucci, one of the attorneys.
