Trial for accused Highland Park shooter to begin in February; Crimo III to represent himself
... “We are grateful to the judge for allowing justice to proceed in this important case by setting a trial date, and to not be distracted by an effort to delay,” Chicago attorney Antonio Romanucci, who represents people that were harmed or who lost loves ones in the Highland Park shooting, said in a statement. “We are fiercely committed to accountability in all its forms for the members of the Highland Park community whose lives were devastated by this tragic mass shooting.”
Crimo III pleaded not guilty to all charges and is currently being held without bond.
