American Association for Justice honors Bhavani K. Raveendran with Certificate of Recognition

July 14, 2020

Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, a national personal injury firm primarily based in Chicago, is pleased to announce that Senior Associate Bhavani K. Raveendran was honored yesterday by the American Association for Justice (AAJ) with a Certificate of Recognition.  This is a meaningful honor, that recognizes AAJ members who have made contributions through membership, education or fundraising to sustain and strengthen the organization.

Bhavani has dedicated her career to civil rights cases including police misconduct, sexual abuse, hazing and other matters. She is currently the Chair of the Police Misconduct Litigation Group for AAJ, but has also contributed greatly to AAJ, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA), the South Asian Bar Association Chicago Foundation and the Illinois State Bar Association.  One such example is that she is a Co-chair and Founding Member of the ITLA Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

“Bhavani Raveendran’s dedication to civil rights and to the practice of law is exemplary and a source of pride for Romanucci & Blandin. She is fully committed to securing justice for each of her clients and has a proven track record of success both in and out of the courtroom,” said Gina DeBoni, managing partner of Romanucci & Blandin, LLC.
