Antonio M. Romanucci Appointed Chairperson of the State of Illinois Supreme Court Rules Committee

Romanucci & Blandin, LLC announced today that Antonio M. Romanucci has been appointed Chairperson of the Rules Committee for the State of Illinois Supreme Court. His term begins January 1, 2020 and ends December 31, 2020.  In this role, he will lead the committee’s work to study and recommend new rules and modify existing rules for the State of Illinois Supreme Court. Members of the Rules Committee include James A. Hansen, Steve H. Kim, Hon. William H. Hooks, Hon. Franklin U. Valderrama, Larry R. Rogers, Jr., and Julie A. Webb.

Seven Justices of the State of Illinois Supreme Court were present for this appointment on November 11, 2019 including Chief Justice Anne M. Burke, Justice Rita B. Garman, Justice Mary Jane Theis, Justice Thomas L. Kilbride, Justice Lloyd A. Karmeier and Justice P. Scott Neville, Jr., and Justice Robert R. Thomas.
