Attorney Colton M. Johnson Taylor joins Romanucci & Blandin

CHICAGO (November 25, 2024) –

Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, a national personal injury firm primarily based in Chicago, announces that Attorney Colton M. Johnson Taylor has joined the firm’s renowned civil rights team. He will help individuals affected by police misconduct, including cases involving deadly or wrongful shootings, excessive force, false arrests, no-knock warrants, police chases, prisoners' rights, taser injuries or deaths and unreasonable searches and seizures. Colton will work closely with civil rights Partner Bhavani K. Raveendran and Founding Partner Antonio M. Romanucci.  

Colton earned his law degree from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law and his undergraduate degrees in Political Science and History from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania.

During law school, he participated in the Loyola Law Legislation and Policy Clinic and was part of a team that drafted a bill passed by the Illinois legislature and signed into law by Governor J.B. Pritzker in 2024. The law enables children in DCFS care to access culturally appropriate hair care training and treatment. Before law school, he served an AmeriCorps term with Public Allies Twin Cities in Minneapolis, where he assisted seniors below the poverty line and connected them to services to help them remain independent.

Colton is admitted to practice in Illinois.
