Romanucci & Blandin Releases Statement Regarding Criminal Hearing in Highland Park Shooting Case
The civil litigation team of Romanucci & Blandin, which represents more than four dozen survivors of the Highland Park Fourth of July shooting, issued the following statement:
"Today's status hearing in the criminal proceedings against Robert Crimo III is meaningful in continuing the pursuit of justice for this heartbreaking community and national tragedy, while parallel efforts continue with civil litigation. The lawsuits we filed on September 28, 2022 are intended to also hold accountable Smith & Wesson for its deceptive and manipulative advertising and marketing that played a role in this mass shooting, as well as others in the chain of sale for the M&P15 weapon, the shooter and his father. We are fiercely committed to bringing justice for the families of those who lost their lives and those whose lives were forever changed by this senseless act of violence."
