Managing and Senior Partner Hon. Gina A. DeBoni honored by Crain’s Chicago Business as a Notable Gen X Leader in Accounting, Consulting and Law
Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, a national litigation firm primarily based in Chicago, is pleased to announce that Managing and Senior Partner Hon. Gina A. DeBoni has been named to Crain’s Chicago Business list of Notable Gen X Leaders in Accounting, Consulting and Law. The honorees were announced Friday, November 19 online and the list is in print with this week’s issue.
Gina is recognized for her dedication to justice that is exhibited in her work to combat human trafficking, including her contributions to the shutdown of Backpage.com for predatory practices against minors, and her advocacy on Capitol Hill for the passage of SESTA/FOSTA federal reforms to internet regulation. Gina plays a critical role in the advocacy for clients who are victims of sexual abuse and in 2020 received the Illinois State Bar Association’s Elmer Gertz Human rights Award. She also recently received the Female Executive of the Year award by the prestigious Stevie Awards for Women in Business. Gina is one of the only female Managing Partners of a law firm in Illinois and during her tenure the gender diversity of the firm has increased and is currently 55 percent female. In the last year, Gina has also been elected to the Board of Trustees for the Village of Glenview.
