Romanucci & Blandin retained to represent family of woman struck and killed by a car at a Chicago bus stop
Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, a national personal injury firm primarily based in Chicago, announces it has been retained by the family of Concepcion Lopez, the 83-year-old woman struck and killed while waiting at a Chicago bus stop on May 11. Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene after a black BMW veered out of its lane and struck the CTA bus shelter at 2100 W. Peterson in West Rogers Park. The 42-year-old male driver was ticketed.
The Lopez family is represented by Founding Partner Antonio M. Romanucci and Senior Attorney Jason J. Friedl of Romanucci & Blandin, LLC.
“The most critical thing we will do for the Lopez family is to fight for accountability for their tragic loss. Their beloved family member, Concepcion, was an innocent victim and lost her life because of another person’s negligence and recklessness. We will fully investigate to determine if others played a role in this tragedy, as well, and we are committed to justice in her name,” said Antonio M. Romanucci.
