Three Romanucci & Blandin Partners named to coveted 2019 Illinois Super Lawyers ‘Top 100’ List

Romanucci & Blandin, LLC Partners Stephan D. Blandin, Antonio M. Romanucci and Frank A. Sommario, have all been named to the prominent 2019 Illinois Super Lawyers ‘Top 100’ List. 

This year marks several milestones for the firm with Founding Partners, Romanucci and Blandin being named to the Illinois Super Lawyers list for the 15th consecutive year and Sommario being named to the ‘Top 100’ list for the first time as a result of his work and achievements in the area of Workers’ Compensation.

In addition to being on the Illinois Super Lawyers list for the past 15 years, both Romanucci and Blandin have had a presence on the ‘Top 100’ list for a majority of that time. “It is an honor for both Antonio and I to have received the Super Lawyers recognition for the 15th year and to be on the ‘Top 100’ list again,” said Founding Partner, Stephan D. Blandin. “We are especially proud to have our partner, Frank joining us on the ‘Top 100’ list for 2019.”

In total, the firm had twelve of its attorneys selected to the 2019 ‘Top 100 Super Lawyer’, Super Lawyers and Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers Magazine. Only 5% of attorneys in Illinois receive the distinction of being a Super Lawyer, while 2.5% of attorneys in Illinois receive the title of Rising Star. Senior Counsel Joseph Kolar was named to the 2019 Illinois Super Lawyers list. Senior Associates Michael E. Holden, Bruno R. Marasso and Bhavani K. Raveendran, along with attorney David A. Neiman and others have been named as 2018 Illinois Rising Stars. They join a well-regarded ranking of attorneys in Illinois in the practice areas of plaintiff’s personal injury, civil rights and medical malpractice.

The selection process is rigorous and comprised of peer selection and review, third-party research, and professional achievement. Candidates are eligible for Rising Stars if they are 40 or younger, or have been in practice for 10 years or less.
